I just have to share this super-easy science kit we opened last Saturday morning. We had a little bit of time before heading out for the day and decided to have a go at ONE of the experiments. Well, SIX experiments later we were all totally into it and did not want to stop!
The set we used was from Amazon.com and last I checked, the local Sonoma Toy Shop sells it as well. Amazon.com had it priced for around $16 and it is well worth it! I am sure you can assemble a science kit for cheaper but since I didn’t have a clue what you would need, this is a great way to go. We made colorful crystals, underwater tornadoes, erupting volcanoes and lots of fizzy water! All we needed was a container of water and a tray. I definitely recommend it and my kids loved it (and will be giving many more as birthday gifts this year!).
I just thought I would share something new that we love to do! Maybe I’ll start a new Wednesday feature called Show and Tell? What do you think? Anything new that your kids love? Let me know in the comments!

Dharma got this for Christmas (from the Toy Shop) and she loved it too!
It is such a fun kit! Glad she liked it too!
